It is interesting approach to develop fine motor skills combined with shapes, size, colors and animals. With beginners you could use the patterns for visual support. With advancers you could hide or to demonstrate the pattern only for a while and to give verbal instructions-e.g. Put on the house one yellow triangle etc. it is excellent work for lipreading and hearing perception of hearing imparted children. If the child could manage with cutting it is better to cut the shapes without help.
