Pompoms transfer
Morning activity the other day: pom-pom tongs transfer. I don’t know why but C is obsessed with pom-poms! Another favorite activity that we will definitely do again
Direct aim : To teach the child how to transfer the pom-poms from one bowl to an identical bowl. Remember to start from left to right (as a preparation for writing from left to right). Indirect Aims : To develop fine motor control, hand-eye coordination, independence, concentration and sense of order – to strengthen hand and finger muscles – to develop pincer grip for writing

Homeschool montessori practical life transfer activity
We also used colorful stones for a transferring activity yesterday.
That’s a really good fine motor skill exercise. In a while progress to using tongs. My daughter’s fine motor is great but gross motor is a bit behind.

Homeschool shape color matching activity
C and I had a bit of fun with shape matching.
Used a few of paper cups and foam shapes to make color matching to their appropiate shape destination. A ton of learning fun for any kiddo that loves penguins:)

Homeschool animals puppet craft ideas
Fun with animals finger puppets. Meet bunny,cow,frog,dog,than and chick.Had so much fun this morning pretending to be bunny and chick and ….! It was great
Puppets are a fantastic tool for young kids to engage in undirected free play, use their imagination, simply have fun!

Homeschool straw fine motor skills
Recycling styrofoam and straws
Materials;
Styrofoam
Colored backround paper
Silicon
Long toothpicks
Colored pipettes(straws)
Batten
The scissors skills are very important here.
1-Firstly, we cut the styrofoam and straws

Toddlers beach sensory bin activity
Beach sensory week! Today we had a “beach day” which included actual sand from a nearby beach, toys, water, bubbles and of course some surf rock music! My daughter loved exploring textures and using rich language to describe the sensory experiences she was having. Not pictured: large blue plastic bowl full of water and magnetic plastic fish for kiddos to “fish” with rods from ”village”- great for fine motor and language development in partner play

Homeschool puzzle activity out of foam
Puzzles are always good for children. It let them find ways to place the puzzle piece back into place. They are matching colors and shapes. They are using their fine motor skills. And this is also helpful to get the children ready to start holding a pencil or crayon.
